What is Pain Management?

According to the American Academy of Pain Management, it is:

How to Access Pain Management Services

Talk with your doctor about your pain. He or she may provide you with a referral to our associated physicians at the Putnam office of Anesthesia Associates of Willimantic. The referring physician may be your primary caregiver or a referring specialist, such as your orthopedist or oncologist. Billing and Payment Information

Billing for physician consultations from Anesthesia Associates of Willimantic will be submitted to your insurance directly by Anesthesia Associates of Willimantic. Billing for pain management surgical procedures will be submitted to your insurance carrier by more than one party; the physician’s practice for surgical services, Day Kimball Hospital for facility services and NAPA Anesthesia for anesthesiology services, when applicable. Please check with your insurance carrier for details about your specific coverage, copays, deductibles and any prior authorization requirements.
